Comments were received after my first book on the subject of structured religion … and to the church at Auckland write.
“It didn’t go far enough” said one former attendee.
“What about Legalism, and tithing?” said another
“Are they a Cult?” asked yet another
Writings and notes made over the years have led to this little booklet. the 'out of the religious system' experience and into a network of fellow believers as my eyes have progressively been ‘opened’.
This book is in 2 parts - my experience of gaining ’in-sight’

From time to time people ask us – where are you at now, regarding ‘Church’ and meeting with other believers / brethren ?
Well, we try to echo how it was in the ‘early Church’ times, and regularly meet with other like minded people, currently every second Sunday, at each others homes – in rotation.
We meet, chat, then group share whatever each one has to contribute, sing, pray, share a pot-luck meal, and communion. The host ‘kicks it off’, and it goes from there, and before we know it, 4 – 6 hours have passed !
No offerings, No buildings, No agendas, No ‘performers’,
No professionals or staff to pay. No boards. No ‘overhead costs’
Fluid, adaptable, individual, satisfying, organic - and it works !
